Whether you’re looking for a way to commemorate your home, show off your business, or just looking for a gift for a friend or family member, commissions are a great way to capture the personality of a subject!

HOW IT WORKS:
1. (Consultation)
Through an initial phone call we’ll discuss the details of your desired commission and I’ll determine whether it’s
something I can do and if any extra charges will apply
if it’s going to be a particularly complex painting.
Details will be worked out whether the
painting will be picked up or shipped.
2. (Invoice, Contract, and Deposit)
I’ll send an invoice and contract. Once the contract is signed and a 50% deposit made we’ll move on to step 3.
3. (Drafts and Approval)
I’ll send a rough color draft or pencil sketch via email, text, messenger, or another platform and receive client feedback.
All details of the final painting are worked out in this stage. Up to three alterations will be made and we’ll move on the stage 4.
4. (Final Outline and Painting)
I will send a final outline and if everything looks good I’ll move on to painting.
5. (Payment and Delivery)
Once the painting is complete and the remainder of the invoice is paid, the painting will be packaged in a clear plastic envelope with a backing board and a certificate of authenticity.
The painting will then be shipped or we will arrange a time and place to meet (usually Brio Coffeehouse in Waynesboro, PA.
***
I like to make paintings as personal as possible by incorporating meaningful elements.
That could be a car, a pet, a piece of landscaping, or an object that captures a loved one’s personality or a specific memory.

*Client is aware going into commission process of my particular style and expects the style of their painting to be consistent with examples I have posted on my website and social media.

FAQS
Q. What is the turnaround on your commissions?
A. Usually I can have a painting ready within a week or two. If it is a larger project or if I have a lot of commissions I’m working on it may be closer to a month.
We can discuss the timeframe if you need a painting by a certain date.
…honestly, that’s about the only consistent question people have for me.
