Watercolor Class @ Holmes Watercolors - *Thursday, September 5th 6:00-8:00pm

from $50.00

Join me on Thursday, September 5th from 6:00-8:00pm at my studio, Holmes Watercolors for a paint lesson! The paint class will run about 2 1/2 hours.
You are welcome to bring your own wine or beer, and snacks. I have a table we can set up for food and drink.

There are two options for tickets:

$60 with all supplies included (which you get to keep!)
or
$50 if you bring your own materials.

---Materials needed in class are---
x1 sheet sketching paper
x1 9"x12" watercolor paper
Waterproof pen
Pencil
Watercolor paints
Brush Pen

I will have several reference images available to choose from but feel free to bring an image of something you’d like to paint. Images students have painted include pets, family members, houses, vacation locations, and landscapes.
I teach tools and techniques rather than give step-by-step directions so the content you choose to paint is very open. I encourage students to make their paintings truly their own by adding elements and colors of their choosing, even if they don't directly reflect the source material.
Don’t worry. I’ll teach you how to break things down and give you the tools and techniques you need to have confidence in your artistic abilities!

No experience is needed! I’ll guide you through the steps and teach techniques that will help you capture the essence of the subject.
I’ve had a lot of students who think that they don’t have any artistic talent and say they ‘can only draw stick figures’ take the class and they’ve all walked away surprised at what they were able to create!

Come relaxed and bring some friends! The idea behind the class is to loosen up, have fun, learn techniques that will help you develop your own style and see the world in a new way!

8 East Main St. Waynesboro, PA. 17268
Metered street parking is available, or you can park in the free lot off of 2nd St and Mulberry St.
